I'm the full-time artist and single fishy behind fanmuimui, a little art shop dedicated to showing love to all of the cute (and underappreciated!) critters out there.

After getting burnt out by the tech startup life, I made the decision to quit my job and take a chance on myself. While I've always loved to draw, making a living out of art seemed like both a scary uphill battle and the one thing I really wanted to try after my multiple iffy job experiences! And so, I took a leap of faith and started my small business right away in January of 2024. Since then, through a bit of sheer luck and a lot of sleepless nights, I've somehow been able to call drawing silly sea creatures and making trinkets my full-time job.

Everything you see at fanmuimui is completely illustrated, designed, hand packed, and shipped by me with lots of love throughout the entire process. I hope holding my art in your hands brings you the same joy it brought me when creating it!
